Paul is the practice area partner for dispute resolution and head of the dispute resolution team in Cardiff. He is also the firm’s international services partner and chair of the firm’s sports & leisure industry sector, having represented sports related clients such as Cardiff Rugby Football Club Limited for many years.

Paul graduated from University College, Oxford with a BA in Jurisprudence in 1984 (MA 1991). After undertaking his Law Society Finals at Guildford Law School, Paul trained with Slaughter and May in the City of London where he qualified as a solicitor in 1987. He joined Geldards in 1988 becoming a partner in 1992.

Paul has over 22 years' experience in all aspects of commercial dispute resolution. He has particular expertise in handling high value, large and complex commercial disputes. His practice includes commercial contract, product liability, intellectual property, international, company shareholder, director’s duties, insolvency, civil fraud, sports law and professional negligence cases. Paul is a CEDR accredited mediator.

Paul is a Member of the Institute of Directors, the International Bar Association and an Associate Member of the American Bar Association. He is also a director of Go Debt Limited and Chairman of South Wales International Trade Association.
