Geldards Advise Finsbury Foods on £2.2m Acquisition of Goswell Enterprises Ltd

The Corporate Team at Geldards have advised Finsbury Food Group PLC, a leading manufacturer of cake, bread and morning goods, on the acquisition by its subsidiary, Nicholas & Harris Limited, of Goswell Enterprises Ltd for £2.2 million. Goswell supplies a range of branded speciality breads, including Vogels and Cranks, to a number of the UK’s leading supermarkets including Waitrose and Sainsbury's.

The deal sees Finsbury extend its quality bread offering through this acquisition in a deal which further confirms the strength of the food and drink marketplace in an otherwise challenging economic climate.
